Agreed on that nitpick, a shame that this point from last week's producer blog seems like it wasn't followed through with the loss of Germain: [The idea of having 3 Abysallis Kings was already a thing back when they were thinking about the next step after Geryon's defeat. They wanted to have a final boss-class enemy make his debut soon after Geryon's departure... but having him appear so soon without making him do anything meaningful (too early for the climax) would have lowered his dignity in the long run. So, to resolve this contradiction they opted to go with the "the first one (of the group) to appear is the weakest (even though he's not)" formula (just like commander Alpha and the Hundred trio during the Legend Arc).] I'm still enjoying the show but as for my personal nitpicks it's that I wish we could've dedicated some time to develop both Rinne and Spanner, character and power wise. We're down to the last stretch of episodes (I believe they said that the final episode will be 50) and our secondary doesn't have her final form yet. Also think it's a missed opportunity to not interact/develop more the differences/opposition between Houtarou and Spanner's ideologies regarding chemies.

I really love him summon the Chemy Rider with Both of the chemy voices. Also it’s kinda fking op to be able to summon an enhance and stronger version of the riders. Anyway, Gotchard has a lot a lot of problems but i don’t know why I still enjoy watching it so much.

8:46 yeah I'm starting to get annoyed by this too there's way too many villains that could be the final boss of the show and while on the one hand that can make a show unpredictable on the other it can also make it extremely annoying it's not a massive problem in my opinion but good God to show really needs to pick a final boss and stick with it. It is nice however that this show is not constantly beating a song into the ground like what it has been doing for most of the show that is another one of my problems with the show it is the spam out the same song over and over and over again it wasn't that big of a deal because this show has good music but it does get repetitive after a while

This video is great, and it's funny because in the beginning it was mostly reviews on bad games and movies, Then there was the postal Series, and then he went heavy into the boomshoot with some other types of content so it's not a stagnant topic. all in all, love Civvie, would gladly risk my life to break him out of the black site he's in.

The kings have a twisted/confused sense of things. Gigist thinks he knows empathy and the new guy love. Dunno about the woman one though. Valvarad and Majade NEED upgrades cos they're jus constantly getting bodied. Seriously Rinne, you have a potential of ten whole forms yet only ever use SunUnicon and MoonCerbereos. Granted Wind uses BlackBahamut but that's still 7 other forms to use. Heck why not try her Level 10s in conjunction? That'd probably make her power insane, though said Chemy ARE the OGs so are very powerful. Part of me wonders what would happen if Valvarad used the Repli Chemies instead, though that would require Repli Madwheel being evolved into Repli Machwheel.

This was a phenomenal episode, I'm a sucker for stuff that plays off or expands the world/elements of a series, was surprised to get the reveal that Geryon was also a homunculus (he really IS Atropos' dad) all this time. I love how Germain hijacked the narration to let the viewers know things are far from being resolved: "Except...who ever said he was the ONLY Abyssalis King?" Lots of stuff from the episode blog this week that I thought were really cool: [The 3 Abyssalis Kings are roughly equal in strength. So why was Gigist defeated so easily? That's because he's "Abyssalis King C" (that was actually his provisional name back when the final parts of the story were planned). While the 3 Abyssalis Kings are homogeneous as a "Trinity", they are also in a tense relationship as they compete to see who will "obtain the True Throne". In episode 27, Geryon's ritual caused a slight distortion in the Ouroboros ring, creating a gap large enough for one person. The smart Gigist seized the opportunity to descend to Earth first, seeking a fragment of the Philosopher's Stone aka Nijigon, to give himself an advantage over the other two. That's why Germain talked about "a punishment for stealing the march on us". And so, Gotchard's "Founder of Alchemy" is called Germain, also known as "Abyssalis King A". He's able to create enhanced lifeforms called "Golems" from inanimate objects. At first, there was no spell chanting in the golem creation scene, but they deliberately added the always-used "As from the One are all things born" spell to emphasize that this Abyssalis King is the "alchemist of the beginning" but also to show how cool the "basic spell can become the strongest if perfected" idea can be. In the world of Gotchard, the Philosopher's Stone seems to be an alchemy item that has incredible power. According to Fuuga, "inside of the Egg Chemy lies a fragment of the Philosopher's Stone" which is also "the source of power of the Abyssalis Kings". And since Nijigon is a "fragment" of Gigist, this means that not only Nijigon, but each of the Kings has a fragment of the Stone. In other words, the Philosopher's Stone was divided into 3 fragments, with each fragment given to a Abyssalis King. Hence the homogeneous "Trinity". Each has received 33% of the stone, and the last 1% is Nijigon, the Egg. That's why Gigist wanted to get Nijigon so much: by getting that extra 1%, he would have surpassed the 2 other Kings. "Abysallis King B" Gaelijah is the Stargazing Abyssalis King who can read "fate" and see into everything by having mastering "Astrology" within the alchemy system. This trinity of Abyssalis Kings (Germain of Love, Gigist of Understanding (Intellect), and Gaelijah of Fate) was almost entirely created by Akiko Inoue. Matsuura deliberately added a transformation code for Clotho Rebis ("Abyss Gear") because he always wanted to have a "Abyss Gear" (Clotho) vs "Ironize" (Lachesis) scene.] With Gigist's current situation, I wonder if he might pull an "enemy of my enemy is my friend" and try to strike a temporary alliance with the heroes (Spanner specifically) to take out his siblings and seize the top spot again?

9:48 this is a pretty interesting question and I'm not too sure how to answer it on the one hand yes he is a victim of abuse but on the other he has cussed a lot of pain it's this type of nuance that I think adds a lot to the show themes personally on my side of the spectrum I feel like willingness to change is the deciding factor if you don't have to will to change their a pretty high chance that you are not going to grow and change that's what I personally think of this question

Cool that Rainbow Gotchard can manifest other forms to fight with him, with the bonus of rainbow eyes and muffler. Though i expect the TCG versions of those cards will be hard to get. Thought it odd to defeat Gigist so soon, turns out he's not gonna be dead and two more kings appear. Also Majade's dad comes back!

It's even more awesome that the whole "Each and every chemy is a Kamen Rider" is furthered even more with them becoming physical Kamen Riders in universe. I love that the new ability of Rainbow Gotchard is called "Gotcha Brothers", and distinguishes it from Legendary Legend's cloning/duplication by it being the chemies fighting alongside their friend on a greater level. Great episode, though the fighting isn't over yet with the new arrivals. Looks like Rinne's dad is back from getting the milk again for the second (third counting the movie) time next week, will he stick around for good now? I do still wonder what's his reason for being out of action when all of this is going down.

8:21 it's so nice seeing this trope of the franchise being brought into show and surprisingly late as well like normally with a ride show that is something that is ether established at the start or you start getting hints that's something else might be going on early on and I'm honestly happy that they held off on this idea until late in the show because it helps give this series its own unique identity I'm all for franchises calling back too old ideas but I'm also for a franchise trying to have a identity for each individual entry

So Rainbow Gotchard was pretty cool and is an upgrade form that doesn't involve Hopper/Liner. Pretty funny to see the two props for the new Chemy, Character and Henshin Device, the latter of which being hollow so it can plug onto the belt. Hopper1 is okay and still precious ^_^ Fun thing is the kick hits 7 times, just like the colours in a rainbow. NEXT TIME! The Final Chemy Gotcha! Ancient 3 And 4! The Rainbow after the Rain, very direct but I'd say that fits Houtarou and Gotchard as a season. Fantastic episode, Rainbow's insert song is awesome and if my count isn't mistaken the Rainbow Fever lands 7 kicks, very thematic. Also Houtarou's actor is named Junsei Motojima, like you said he really did fantastic this episode in his portrayal. Some points from the episode blog that I found cool: [-The theme of Rainbow Gotchard is: rainbow and arrow. In a sense, we get a return to origins with the rainbow, reminiscent of the rainbow glow from the original Gotchadriver. Also, Gotchard is the Arrow Rider, so of course that trademark is the main motif of the suit. The helmet was designed to be as sharp as possible so that it looks like a giant arrow when viewed from either side. -While making the omurice in the egg mind world, Houtarou grasped the true essence of alchemy: just like cooking, alchemy uses tiny ingredients, but by "gotchanko" them together, the mix can produce great power. Rainbow Gotchard brings a huge change in Houtarou's fighting style: he will fight using alchemy with his own free-spirited ideas, and that's just... really Houtarou-like. -Spanner has also learned of his bond with Gigist: the black flames that Gigist possesses are the same flames that Spanner has. It seems that Gigist has a lot of respect for Spanner, since he went as far as inviting him to his side.] That last point interests me a lot, it's an interesting connection they have and I hope the show can dedicate some time to developing it into a payoff, hoping for like a final form for Spanner that turns those flames into a greater force for good and making them more his own.

This episode to me feels like a culmination of everything the show has been doing up until this point which is a really good thing I like this but now I'm going to do something I normally don't do analyzing the suit design because I feel like you could make an argument that rainbow Gotchard represents the sky not just rainbows which if this is the case because I don't have mind reading powers I'm just making analysis here is a really cool design because when I think about it Houtarou is very much like the sky itself very bright and very hopeful so making the final form a representation of his personality it works for me and as for the individual elements that makes me think this the base body is very much the blue sky the rainbow highlights are obvious and I feel like the big old core of the design can represent the Sun I just feel like that's a very interesting thing to look into ( also quick aside I would like to apologize for my last comment I was kind of a jerk and I kind of miss the point maybe you guys don't see it as that big of a deal but I do feel like apologizing for even a little mistake is worthwhile just saying)

This was such a great Final Form debut. Loved the form, loved the standby. Loved how the song for the jingles sounds like an actual song with vocals and stuff. And Hotaro finally getting Alchemy when relating it to something he loves. Also the new Insert is great. Sky is The Limit!! So happy. And happy to see what could be the start of Rinne's development to her final form. (Please Bandai don't do her dirty like you did with locking her driver behind PBandai)

Hopper1😢 Chances are either Rainbow or the golden flowers will restore the Chemys. Iron Gotchard is the Tenliner form. Though we rally should have Steamliner appear more often like Hopper1 does. There's still at best 13 episodes left yet there's still nothing on Hotaro's dad

This whole episode was pretty much "how can we make Houtarou's life as miserable as possible" and I honestly cannot help but respect it for that I also love how hopper one was handled this week very much an entity trying to help it's friend out although I do think that he's going to be revived if not next week then maybe at the end and the main reason for that assumption on my end is because hopper is literally half of the base form of the series to add on to that there is literally already a rainbow hopper one card in the toy line unless that is a out of universal thing which I don't even think is what's going on given how pretty much every other card is in the show I do think hopper is going to be revived but I honestly do not think that that detract from the emotion in this episode especially with how he is killed off and I think with this episode Houtarou has demonstrated beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is a Kamen rider and I cannot help but love how the scene was executed for that reason alone a fantastic episode we have here ( sorry if this comment comes off as a Debbie Downer for some people's hopes about Hopper I just think it's important to not get your hopes too high up)

Another episode that barring the ending, I think it definitely gets the Kekera stamp of approval. While it would be cruel for Hopper1 to stay, dead there's no denying that would give so much additional weight and impact to the story of Gotchard to proceed with that. Always love seeing Iron Gotchard, it's my favorite Gotchard form. A sad but beautiful detail some people pointed out is that the Iron Knuckle attack doesn't burst through the Hopper1 Malgam and they fall as Hopper1 does, it feels like Steam/Tenliner wanted to be by his friend's side during the final moments. This is a lot of text but I really wanted to highlight these two points from this week's producer blog: [-If coming together with the Chemies in a cheerful and fun way is a type of "interaction", then surely fighting with the dark and ugly Malgams would be one too, right? Neglecting the latter because he has worked hard to gain the former would mean that all of Houtarou's efforts would become lies. And it's not about saying that "violence is bad" or anything. It's just that it would be rude for Houtarou to gloss over that. This is why they decided to use the only (?) Kamen Rider characteristic that the so-called "not Kamen Rider-like" Gotchard uses, "a monster born from both good and evil", as a trial for Houtarou. -The order from Chief Producer Minato for this episode was "next episode is going to be the final form debut episode, so I want this episode to be a really depressing one". Episode Writer Akiko Inoue's first proposition was the "trial" talked previously, with her suggestion being "the most despairing thing for Houtarou would be to have to destroy Chemies with his own hands". However, she wasn't the one who said "let's turn Hopper1 into a Malgam". Actually, back when they were working on episodes 3 and 4, Assistant Producer Matsuura told Scriptwriter Keiichi Hasegawa "You know, since the Malgam system exists, Hopper1 will have to turn into one at some point. Just kidding." Hasegawa's answer was "I see... That's great." And so, ever since then, Matsuura warmed up to that idea (mainly because of Hasegawa's positive response to his half-joke statement) and kept it in his mind. Ultimately, Hasegawa did something similar during Episode 36 with Skebows. So when Inoue asked about if it was possible to have Houtarou destroy Chemies, Matsuura naturally answered "I see... If it's for that purpose, I know a good one. Have you ever heard of Hopper1?" After 6 months, Matsuura was finally able to do it.] Man, I am just floored (slow claps).

Gigist immediately gets to work and does things himself, I love the quick scene changes we get using his warping power and that adds to his otherworldly/bizarre presence. The way he changed how things work with the Skebows' malgam feels like cheating but as the one who the chemies originated from I suppose that is darkly fitting. Every time they defeated a malgam, the chemy would always emerge to return to our heroes, Houtarou holding out the card only to be met with no response really lets you know something's gone very wrong. The reveal that the chemies were intended to plague mankind really ties in with one of kamen rider's core themes as summed up by a line from the producer blog: "Born from evil, denying evil, and speaking of justice: that is the essence of Kamen Rider inherited from the Showa era. If that's the case, it would be no exaggeration to say that each and every Chemy is a Kamen Rider!" And I think that is beautiful. One other thing people pointed out that has me wondering, if Houtarou has that chemy egg with him, does that mean Daybreak Houtarou has a version of it too?

I really love the disecrion of Hotaro and Gigist and perhaps the core of the entire series itself!!! Emphathy huh???Come to think of it for me Hotaro is over hated as people only focus on how loud he is and the continous spouting of I will make friends with everyone particularly all Chemys similar to how Luffy spouts I WILL BE PIRATE KING ALL SAY LONG AND HE DOES NOT CARE HOW LOUD OR CORNY HE gets that is Hotaro in a nutshell. However you bring up a very good point that he is like that but at his core he is different from lets say Gentaro oe even Sougo!!!! Gentaro and Hotaro at first glance may seem made from the same cloth but they are not. Both are spouting the same thing but you can feel Fourze is not only loud but forcing it at times. Hell at some instances instead of listening and understanding Fourze will shove that I will be friends with everyone down your throat whether you like it or not. Of course things worked out in the end but still that very minor differece is telling. On that regard Hotaro is a way better friend comrade and bro in arms than Fourze ever could as Gotchard unlike Fourze will take his time to listen and understand as much as he can whether it is people or chemy whether it is an opponent or an ally and recognize their individuality before spouting that I WANNA BE FRIENDS out of the blue, I mentioned Sougo as well because like Gotchard the majority back then hatees ZIO I mean that dream of I wanna be king is as weird as it gets that being a normal high school kid would never say it but he did. Count the fact that He is a kid means immature and all issues that comes from being a kid Zio has it. In addition he became a second fiddle in his own series thanks to Decade. Imagine Zio the king of all being rebegated to an afterthought just becaus decade is there? So yes Zio is for the najority hated as much if not more than Gotchard is now, However just like Gotchard as the series went on they matured so much to the point that no matter how loud Ichinose gets now I dont care as he has proven himself that he truly deserves to be Gotchard!!! In the same Tokea as Sougo supplemented by all the specials and movies you can see his maturity that he is looking more like Zio the king of all. Yes Sougo now is far from that snot nose kid back then. He does not need to say I wanna be king anymore rather he he just shows it. I love that. And Yes I love Gotchard.

I like how Gigist is written so far. He feels like a really big threat. I mean like he comes in kills an alchemy leader, beats Spanners ass, beats Houtaro sorta. And I love the lore drop that Gigist made the original two chemies and that ALL chemies can cause some sort of major harm. It’s also very funny thinking that Hopper-1 can cause famines😭💀🙏. The ending of the episode was nice too with the death of Skebow. I do wonder if that skebow prop is actually works as a good skateboard. Overall a 8/10. Theory time: This is from my friend but he had the idea that Gegist is actually a chemy or has some sort of different form because Gegist appears to be a malgam, so Mayhaps he fused with Geryon in the dark dimension. That PLUS in the book with the daybreak wizard Gegist has a different form.

Hopper1 is still adorable and will have an adventure next time Just noticed Gigist has four extra arms draping from him like typical Malgam The location swapping was neat The sempai duo at least tried helping by using planetary support fire RIP Skebows The Legend crossover could've just ben more of the Legend miniseries but it's neat to crossover. And yeah, Decade saving Kaguya makes more sense as it's why Legend is based on Decade.

The gotchard and Legend mini arc was fun I'm glad I didn't ignore it for the sake of not caring abt a crossover

Turns out the doom clock is just a model reuse of Zea/There, Zero-One's good satellite. Teasing Gotchard's final form but there's at best only 15 episodes left so it makes sense he'd be getting his final form soon. I'm expecting gold. Also implication that the rider who saved Kaguya in his bombed world was Daybreak Gotchard?

You want to know something that I noticed while watching this episode Houtarou has a pretty good track record of pricing blame where it should be okay let me elaborate Kaguya put the blame on himself for what's happening this week but Houtarou is all like "no it's the villain's fault not yours" and he did this before namely with Rinne when she was blaming herself for all the nonsense that was gone on in the early parts of the show which is really good despite being a teenager he has already develop the ability ether before the show begins or during the show to assign people fart which is a really good thing as I mentioned before also it was cool seeing Spanner going to Kaguya and pretty much saying "hey Houtarou has a iron will so please give up on making him give up" which just goes to show how much Spanner has grown

Another really fun episode, great to have moments from the others as well and it really shows how much this means to Houtarou that he didn't cook to ensure the highest chance of great tasting food at Kaguya's surprise welcome party. That pause when Kaguya got Kachidoki Gaim's flags and throws them away with the music stopped was hilarious. It's great to see Kaguya's growth comparing a line he said from the last episode of his special: "The unpolished gemstones scattered about this world let me shine bright." To what he says in this episode: "Together, our brilliance will be even more gorgeous! Or so I've been told...If those beside me are also gems shining bright, then I suppose we could shine together. Prepare yourself, Hundred. For our brilliance will shine beyond this world!" Now he's willing to fight alongside others and accept their help, though it's also fun that he unveils a power that still very much has his signature flair: "The comrades of I, Kaguya...Are I, Kaguya!" Legendary Legend being able to turn into other riders' final forms was already strong but I wasn't expecting it to also be able to make clones of the rider's other forms. The potential to become a literal one man army due to forms that summon other riders and the cloning ability, now that's power worthy of the Superweapon description Hundred gave the Legend Kamen Riser. Lastly one of my favorite parts has to be near the end where Kaguya and Butler see a glimpse of Daybreak's timeline/world, based on some of the promotional images they released recently for the Summer movie I think this will be a tease of what's to come there. Can't wait to find out more and what possibilities may be found if Daybreak gets help from Kaguya and the others, hopefully together they can overcome even the overwhelming odds in that future.

Civvie11 is a Boomshoot Reviewer in the style of Mystery Science Theater 3000, and it couldn't be better.

The interactions between Kaguya and the main crew are really fun, love that we get to see both sides of the gag now with Rinne initially calling Butler Kajiki and Kaguya mistaking Kajiki for Butler. Kaguya's attitude and the way he operates really operates opposite to how the alchemy riders, or at least the alchemy society are. Keeping identities secret, mind whammies for those who see them transform to preserve that secrecy and yet here we have Kaguya nearly transforming on camera to be broadcasted. He's very full of himself but it's fun to watch because even with all that ego and bravado he does care for the people in his own way in wanting to make those around him gorgeous like his fanclub. It was nice to see the dispute play out and Butler to give Houtarou the missing context, I love how Hopper1 and their friendship tie it together which helps Houtarou finish understanding how he should empathize with Kaguya. Ignite's speed powers do a lovely job filling in the slot of Faiz's Axel mode for the super speed to make the new finisher and I'm glad Kaguya acknowledges Houtarou's growth in power and gorgeousness. The Hundred commander transformed into Ark Zero first followed by Ark One, fittingly Kaguya matches it with Zero Two to exceed the predictive abilities. I have to admit I wish/hope we get a proper series for Legend and the conflict with Hundred cause I'd love to see how they got there, why and how these people are borrowing/copying powers from riders from other worlds and times. Would love to see the journey from the start, how Kaguya builds up the powers and becomes the defender of his world who has to protect it on his own.

Shame we didn't get a clean Legendary Legend henshin. Cool form though. Nice to see who's in command of The Hundred and it's THE POLYGON COUNCIL! Ark Zero/One getting used was cool. Hopper1 is still totally adorable and i want her DX toy. She's even all giggly afterwards ^_^ THE HUNDRED RESURRECTED ARK!!!? That's what the clock is, a satellite with an AI in it that turned evil and wanted humanity to go extinct. It was the main villain of Zero-One and the Ark-Zero/One Rider seen in this episode was the form it eventually took. You can even see the satellite's core in the larger eye of the suit.
